Dietetics & Psychology
Self Managed & Plan Managed
Two Disciplines.
One Recovery Plan.
Eating disorders sit where nutrition and psychology meet. Treating one half rarely holds. Both sides of our team work on the same case, and both are fully funded through your NDIS plan.
Dietitian Care
Our accredited dietitians work on the physical and behavioural side of recovery: stabilising eating, challenging food rules, and rebuilding trust with food.
Psychology Care
Our AHPRA registered psychologists work on the emotional and cognitive drivers: anxiety, body image, shame, trauma, and the thinking that keeps the eating disorder running.
What We Treat
Eating disorders are the only area we work in, rather than general nutrition advice or general mental health.
Care That Works With Your Plan
Dietetics and psychology are both Capacity Building supports, so they draw from the same part of your plan. If your funding is tight, we usually suggest starting with the dietitian and adding psychology once things are steadier. We will tell you honestly what your funding can carry.
We invoice self managed participants directly, send invoices straight to plan managers, and can provide written reports to support your next plan review.

NDIS Frequently Asked
Questions
Straight answers on funding, costs and how to get started.
Do you accept NDIS participants?
Yes, for both dietetics and psychology. We work with self managed & plan managed participants, and there is no out of pocket cost at all. Sessions are fully covered by your NDIS funding, so you pay nothing on the day. All appointments are online by video, so you can be seen anywhere in Australia.
How much does an NDIS session cost?
A 60 minute dietitian session is $178.99. A 60 minute psychology session is $252.99. Both are fully funded, $0 out of pocket.
Self managed participants are invoiced directly. For plan managed participants we send the invoice straight to your plan manager, so there is nothing for you to chase.
Should I see a dietitian, a psychologist, or both?
Many people work with both. The dietitian handles eating patterns, food rules, sensory restriction and the practical side of regular eating. The psychologist handles the anxiety, body image, shame and thinking underneath.
Both draw from the same Capacity Building budget, so seeing both spends your funding twice as fast. If your funding is tight we usually suggest starting with the dietitian and adding psychology once things are steadier. Tell us your situation and we will give you a straight answer.
Do I need a referral to see an NDIS dietitian or psychologist?
No. You do not need a GP referral, an Eating Disorder Management Plan or a Mental Health Care Plan to book with us as an NDIS participant. You only need funding in your plan that can be used for the support. Book online and we take care of the rest.
Which part of my NDIS plan pays for this?
Dietetics and psychology are both Capacity Building supports rather than Core supports, which means the funding is quarantined and cannot be moved across from another part of your plan. If you are not sure whether your plan has room, email our team before you book and we will talk it through with you.
Are you an NDIS registered provider?
We work with self managed & plan managed participants. If your plan is agency managed, also called NDIA managed, you will need a registered provider, and we are happy to point you towards one.
What ages do you see?
Our dietitians see children, teenagers and adults. Our psychology service is for ages 16 and over. If you are booking for someone younger, an NDIS dietitian appointment is the place to start.
What happens in my first NDIS session?
Your first session runs for 60 minutes by video. Your clinician gets a picture of your history, what is happening now, and the goals sitting in your plan, then sets out a clear direction for the work.
Nothing has to change on the day. A parent, carer or support worker is welcome to join a dietitian session if that helps.
How does a telehealth NDIS appointment work?
All appointments are online by video. You receive a secure link before your session and join from a phone, tablet or computer. There is no travel and no waiting room, which suits participants in regional areas and anyone who finds clinic visits difficult.
Can you provide reports for my plan review?
Yes. We can write reports for your plan review or funding request, and we work alongside your support coordinator and GP. Ask your clinician in session and we will arrange it.
