What Your NDIS Dietitian
Can Help With
Eating disorders and feeding difficulties are the only area we work in. Our dietitians see children, teenagers and adults, and every session is funded through your plan with nothing to pay on the day.
Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
Sensory based and trauma based food restriction, worked through slowly and at a pace that holds. A common reason NDIS participants are referred to us.
Anorexia Nervosa (AN)
Support for restrictive eating, with attention to medical safety and steady, evidence based nutritional rehabilitation.
Binge Eating Disorder (BED)
Support for loss of control eating, focusing on the biological and psychological factors that drive the behaviour.
Bulimia Nervosa (BN)
Breaking the binge purge cycle through biological regulation and practical coping strategies that support recovery.
OSFED & Others
From Atypical Anorexia to Orthorexia, we treat all presentations with equal clinical urgency.

NDIS Frequently Asked
Questions
Straight answers on funding, costs and how to get started.
Do you accept NDIS participants?
Yes. We work with self managed & plan managed NDIS participants, and there is no out of pocket cost at all. Sessions are fully covered by your NDIS funding, so you pay nothing on the day. All appointments are online by video, so you can be seen anywhere in Australia.
How much does an NDIS dietitian session cost?
A 60 minute dietitian session is $178.99, fully funded, $0 out of pocket. That applies to your first session and every session after it.
Self managed participants are invoiced directly. For plan managed participants we send the invoice straight to your plan manager, so there is nothing for you to chase.
Do I need a referral to see an NDIS eating disorder dietitian?
No. You do not need a GP referral or an Eating Disorder Management Plan to book with us as an NDIS participant. You only need funding in your plan that can be used for dietetics. Book online and we take care of the rest.
Which part of my NDIS plan pays for a dietitian?
Dietetics usually sits under Capacity Building, Improved Daily Living. If you are not sure whether your plan has room for it, call us on 0405 589 145 before you book and we will talk it through with you.
Are you an NDIS registered provider?
We work with self managed & plan managed participants. If your plan is agency managed, also called NDIA managed, you will need a registered provider, and we are happy to point you towards one.
What can an NDIS dietitian help with?
Eating disorders are the only area we work in, rather than general nutrition advice. That includes ARFID and sensory based food restriction, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and OSFED, rebuilding mealtime routines, and working towards nutrition related goals in your plan. Our dietitians see all ages.
What happens in my first NDIS dietitian session?
Your first session runs for 60 minutes by video. We go through your history, how eating looks day to day, any sensory or medical factors, and the goals sitting in your plan.
Nothing has to change on the day. You leave with a plan for the next few weeks. A parent, carer or support worker is welcome to join if that helps.
How does a telehealth NDIS appointment work?
All appointments are online by video. You receive a secure link before your session and join from a phone, tablet or computer. There is no travel and no waiting room, which suits participants in regional areas and anyone who finds clinic visits difficult.
Can you provide reports for my plan review?
Yes. We can write reports for your plan review or funding request, and we work alongside your support coordinator, GP and therapy team. Ask your dietitian in session and we will arrange it.
