Contact UsDo I need a referral to book an appointment?
No, you do not need a referral to see our dietitians if you are paying privately. However, if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a referral and an eligible care plan (such as an Eating Disorder Management Plan or Chronic Disease Management Plan) from your GP or Psychiatrist prior to your first session.
How do Medicare rebates work for eating disorders?
Under an Eating Disorder Management Plan (EDMP), eligible patients can access up to 20 Medicare-subsidised dietitian sessions per 12-month period. You pay the full fee upfront, and we process the rebate on your behalf directly back into your nominated bank account.
Are sessions conducted in-person or online?
All our sessions are delivered via 100% secure Telehealth (video or phone call). This allows us to support clients Australia-wide, providing expert care from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
What should I expect in my initial consultation?
The first session is a "getting to know you" appointment (usually 50-60 minutes). We will discuss your current relationship with food, medical history, lifestyle, and goals. There are no weigh-ins or strict meal plans given immediately; instead, we collaborate to create a safe, individualized pathway forward.
What types of eating disorders do you treat?
Our specialized dietitians treat a wide range of diagnoses and presentations, including Binge Eating Disorder (BED), Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), OSFED, and general disordered eating patterns.
