It’s hard to admit you need help and that you can’t do things on your own
I found myself constantly hiding my eating habits and feeling embarrassed and frustrated that I couldn’t stop this vicious cycle. I started seeing Emma when I realised I can’t get better without help. Emma has helped me realise I am not alone, and I don’t need to be embarrassed. She has shown me that I can beat my ED and that I am so much stronger than that voice. Emma is a person I can confide in and who I feel is genuinely in my corner every step of the way, and I’m no longer ashamed of myself because I know someone is there cheering me on no matter how long it takes me to beat my ED and no matter how many times I have to start from the top again. I genuinely couldn’t do this without her support. I’ve learned so much about myself, my habits, and why my ED took over, and she taught me to see food as not this scary overwhelming thing but instead as a fuel for my body and a total necessity. Thank you Emma!

I now have a healthy relationship with food and my body and have not weighed myself in a year.
I had a terrible relationship with food and my body. Nicole provided me with endless support, care and guidance throughout my recovery. I now have a healthy relationship with food and my body and have not weighed myself in a year. I cannot recommend Nicole highly enough. She has truly changed my life.

Emma has had such a positive impact on my eating disorder recovery.
Working with Emma has had such a positive impact on my eating disorder recovery. She has been nothing but supportive and encouraging, while providing a safe, comfortable and non-judgmental environment. Emma’s open and empathetic approach towards recovery has thoroughly helped me to improve my relationship with food and my body. Emma is an amazing dietitian and I’m incredibly grateful for her help.

I follow the IG as well and I find that the posts pop into my feed right when I need them.
have found my appointments with Emma to be very great, I’ve seen a few other dietitians in the past and have struggled to connect with them like I have with her. I think she has such an amazing advantage having had an ED herself, she knows what it’s like living with it. Sometimes she says things I have never voiced to anyone before and it helps me out of my shell because she truly knows what it’s like.

I suffered with an eating disorder for over 5 years
Working with Nicole has had a huge and positive impact on my life! I suffered with an eating disorder for more than 5 years and had been to a countless number of therapists, however none quite understood me, like I felt Nicole did. I was able to stop calorie counting and stop binge eating. She was encouraging and positive throughout my journey toward recovery. I couldn't have done it without her.

Loved working with Nicole
I loved working with Nicole. I suffered with Bulimia Nervosa for 2 years and feared food. I had a negative relationship with food and my body. Nicole completely transformed my relationship with food, my body and my overall self. I cannot thank Nicole enough for her constant support, wisdom and empathy. She is an incredible Dietitian and feel so blessed that I was able to have her by my side.

Have questions?
We have answers!
Answers to common questions about referrals, meal plans, EDPs & online support with our Accredited Practising Dietitians.
What can I expect during my first session with you?
During the initial session, we’ll explore your medical history, eating patterns, thoughts around food and body image and any relevant emotional or behavioural concerns. This session is collaborative and non-judgmental, aimed at building trust and creating a tailored plan to support your recovery.
Do I need a referral to see you?
While you don’t need a referral to book an appointment privately, a referral from your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan or Eating Disorder Plan (EDP) may allow you to access Medicare rebates.
What is an Eating Disorder Plan (EDP) and how do I get one?
An EDP is a specific Medicare initiative that provides up to 20 dietetic sessions per year for those diagnosed with an eating disorder. You can access an EDP through your GP or psychiatrist after an assessment confirming an eligible diagnosis.
Do you work with other health professionals?
Yes. Eating disorder treatment is most effective with a team-based approach. We collaborate closely with GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure holistic, coordinated care.
Can you help if I don’t have a diagnosed eating disorder but struggle with disordered eating or body image?
Absolutely. You do not need a formal diagnosis to seek help. If you have a difficult relationship with food or your body, we can support you in developing a healthier, more sustainable approach.
What makes seeing a specialised eating disorder dietitian different from a general dietitian?
A specialised eating disorder dietitian has advanced training in the psychological, emotional, and nutritional complexities of eating disorders. We work beyond general nutrition advice to address behaviours, thought patterns, medical complications and trauma-informed care related to disordered eating.
Do you help with meal planning?
Yes, but not in a rigid or diet-based way. We help you explore flexible, nourishing meal structures that support recovery, reduce anxiety, and rebuild body trust - without triggering diet mentality.
Can you help if I have food intolerances or medical dietary needs?
Absolutely. Managing medical nutrition needs alongside eating disorder recovery requires a careful, non-restrictive approach. We will help you meet your health needs without fueling disordered thoughts or behaviours.
What age groups do you work with?
We work with children (10+ yo), adolescents, young adults and adults. Our approach is adapted to suit different developmental needs and we offer support to parents/carers when working with younger clients.
